Co-Owners
Manu Kaʻiama is a wife, mom, tūtū, kumu and a business woman. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the Shidler College of Business and two Masters degrees, in Accounting and in Hawaiian Studies. She is a certified public accountant and is owner of two limited liability companies of which `Upena is one of them. Her other company, Kaipiha LLC, concentrates on evaluations of programs that serve the Kanaka community.
Katrina-Ann R. Kapāʻanaokalāokeola Nākoa Oliveira is a mother, certified executive coach, Omidyar Fellow, professor, and administrator at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. She holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Hawaiian Language and Hawaiian Studies, a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution, a master's degree in Geography, a master’s in Business Administration, and a doctoral degree in Geography from the University of Hawaiʻi Mānoa.
